This worksheet is a good way to introduce slope to students, but also a great reference guide for students to refer to as you continue to learn/teach about slope. It is used in correlation to the YouTube video: The Adventures of Slope Dude (2 minutes and 36 seconds).

A COLOR CODED answer key is also provided (this is how I would teach it on the board when guiding the students through the lesson).

Understand that a function is a rule that assigns to each input exactly one output. The graph of a function is the set of ordered pairs consisting of an input and the corresponding output.
Explain what a point (𝘹, 𝘺) on the graph of a proportional relationship means in terms of the situation, with special attention to the points (0, 0) and (1, 𝘳) where 𝘳 is the unit rate.
Identify the constant of proportionality (unit rate) in tables, graphs, equations, diagrams, and verbal descriptions of proportional relationships.
Decide whether two quantities are in a proportional relationship, e.g., by testing for equivalent ratios in a table or graphing on a coordinate plane and observing whether the graph is a straight line through the origin.
