This power-point provides a slope, y-intercept, and graphing equations in slope-intercept form review. I usually use this as a beginning of the year review for my Algebra 1B students. However, I have used this with students who continue to struggle with the basics of these concepts.
The power-point begins by focusing on finding the slope between two points given a graph and then without a graph. It then moves to the slopes of horizontal and vertical lines. Next, the presentation focuses on the y-intercept and graphing equations in slope-intercept form. Each section of the power-point provides extra examples to enable you to check for understanding.
