Guided notes designed for ELL learners that accommodate language barriers and gaps in academic background, while respecting the rigor and demands of CCSSM.
Each section of notes (7 sections total) have a main idea and i can statement. All notes have a warm-up section that either review the prior section's content, or introduces/reviews concepts needed for the day's notes. Most days have an exit ticket/on your own that summarizes the day's lesson.
slope - formula and counting method, graphing lines from slope, special slopes (horizontal and vertical lines)
Slope-intercept form - identifying m and b, writing equations from a a line and two point, and graphing lines using slope intercept form
I divide the notes into 7 days, you can do more in one day or less depending on skill level of students.
