Product Description
This is an activity I use when I teach foreign exchange rates in Economics (or it can be used in a math class). While watching the movie, students will think about the choices made by Jamal and Salim and list a cost/benefit of three choices that each make in the movie (you do not have to be in Economics to be able to answer that question). The students then will use an exchange rate chart to do several calculations. They also will look at the cost of living in India (based on 2012 costs) and compare to the cost of living in the United States. Also included is a movie permission form you can use (no teacher names included) or you can use as a template to create your own permission form.
