There are 6 cards included for each level of sight words. Print, laminate, and cut the page in half. Then, students can use a dry erase marker to “mark” the words that they have during the game. I’ve included flashcards that the teacher will hold up. When the students read the word correctly, they can find it on their board and mark it off. Another option would be for the teacher to just read the words off a list, and cross off as you go, which would be less printing and less materials to keep track of. (Laminate the list for multiple uses with a dry erase marker!) When a student gets 4-in-a-Row, they yell out, FOUR IN A ROW and they win that round.
Instead of adding a lot of color and clipart to these game boards, I’ve chosen to go the printer-friendly route. I’d suggest that you print the following pages on different color paper to differentiate the different levels and to keep yourself organized.
Pre-Primer- Pages 4-12 (All same color paper)
Primer- Pages 13-22 (All same color paper)
