This fun (Pre-Primer) sight word activity is great to use for literacy centers. Four children can participate at a time. Each child takes a turn using the eraser tool to erase inside a shape to make the hidden word appear. The child then reads the word and uses the letter tiles to build it.
I cloned all the letter tiles so you don't have to put them back after building the word. Also, with cloned letter tiles, you can use a letter as many times as needed.
Finally, after children have finished with the activity, don't save the file so the activity resets to the beginning.
There are ten interactive notebook pages that include all the pre-primer words (a, I, run, and, in, said, away, is, see, big, it, the, blue, jump, three, can, little, to, come, look, two, down, make, up, find, me, we, for, my, where, funny, not, yellow, go, one, you, help, play, here, red).
Have fun using this activity with your students!
