The color sight-words are on grouped on three slides and include 11 colors: grey, white, black, brown, red, yellow, green, blue, pink, purple and orange.
The slides are differentiated for two levels: Students who are working on matching color to color and students who are working on matching color to word. Each level includes simple sentence frames as an early writing/reading activity to practice the sight word in context. Students match, write and read. Last but not least, group work in front of the smart board allows my students to practice vital social skills: staying with a group, taking turns and attending.
The slides are simple, interactive and without unnecessary visual distractions for students.
