PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

23 Attendance Activities for the Smart Board! 2 for each month (3 for April, and 1 each for June/July when school is in session for only a week or 2, if at all). I have also included a navigational page for your convenience (so you don't have to scroll through ALL of those pages looking for the one you want). This is something I use in my own classroom EVERY morning. I hope you find it useful.

The activities could be used at any age but are most appropriate for elementary-aged students. Because you may need to edit the activities to use students’ names, I have included detailed instructions that explain the easiest way to do so. If you plan to edit, I recommend keeping this file saved as a template (always ready to be edited for other years) and saving your classroom version under another file name. However, if you wish to skip the editing altogether, I’ve also included pages on which activity items are labeled with numbers. You may assign a number to each student and use this same file year after year. If you teach 2 Kindergarten/Preschool sessions, you may wish to download my other attendance file instead (AM/PM Attendance). Same activities, but includes a name page to be edited for each class and no number pages. A short description of each activity is included below:
• January – Penguins (to put in an igloo), Snowmen (appear when clicked)
• February – Chocolate Box (chocolates disappear when clicked), Valentines (to be put into a heart box)
• March – Dr. Suess Green Eggs (feed to child w/ Cat in Hat hat), Gold Coins (put in the pot of gold)
• April – Easter Eggs (appear when clicked), Raindrops (fall when clicked), Earth Day (put hearts onto the Earth, where they will spin and stay)
• May – Butterflies (fly out of the screen when clicked), Flowers (appear when clicked)
• June – Ocean Scene (creatures swim/crawl out of screen when clicked)
• July – Popsicles (to feel to a child on a beach)
• August – School Children (to put into a school house), Crayons (to put in a crayon box)
• September – School Supplies (to put in a backpack), Apples on a Tree (to put in a bushel)
• October – Pumpkin Patch (pumpkins appear when clicked), Halloween Candy (to put in a Trick-or-Treat bag)
• November – Autumn Leaves (fall off of tree when clicked), Thanksgiving Plate (to fill with a piece of pie)
• December – Snowflakes (fall when clicked), Christmas Decorations (ornaments spin and stay when placed on Christmas Tree)

To access this activity, many of my students use a pointer - it will work for the SmartBoard if they cannot reach with their fingers. My kids use the other end of my hand pointers (they sometimes touch the board with both fingers when using the hand end which somehow un-groups things, removing their properties). As always, do NOT save changes after students have used the activity. That way, things are automatically reset things for the next day. ***Credit for graphics go to ww.mycutegraphics.com
