During our unit on Colonial America I decided to make a simple Smartboard lesson for my Special Education students. This Smartboard lesson includes a link to a YouTube video that compares school long ago to schools today. After watching the video students can then sort the pictures into the categories "Long Ago" and "Today". There are two different activities to utilize. Both use the same categories "Long Ago" and "Today" and the same pictures. The difference is one is a simple move and sort and the other is the vortex that sucks up the picture when correct and bounces out an incorrect answer.
