Are you studying phases of matter with your Special Education students and need some fun interactive lessons? Try this lesson out. I made it for my Special Education kiddos while we were doing a unit on the phases of matter and studying solids, liquids and gases.
Specifically this lesson covers:
1. Sorting pictures of solids and liquids into the two categories.
2. A series of yes/no questions to determine if something is a solid or liquid. (This part includes 8 slides each with one question. For example: "Is milk a liquid?" or "Is juice a solid?". The students will answer the question and pick the thumbs up or thumbs down. Correct answer have an audience applause, incorrect answers have a buzzer sound).
These are both fun activities that you can use to supplement your unit on phases of matter.
