This is a sight word game. To make the game, I bought a bag of rocks(mine came from Dollar Tree). I then wrote a sight word on each rock with a Sharpie marker. I would advise spraying them with polyeurothane to keep the words from rubbing off.
This is a game for 2 players. You will need a balance scale in addition to the rocks. Turn the rocks upside down. Players take turns picking a rock. If they can read it, they put it in their side of the scale. If they can't read it, it goes back in the pile. They continue playing until all of the words have been read.
There is a recording sheet for them to write the words they read. Then they graph how many words each player read.
I'd love for you to leave feedback!
