Product Description
Born out of the frustration to keep all students active when using tone chimes, this arrangement—and many others—were created to address the needs of general music classroom of 25+ students. The download file contains a ‘set’ of scores for The Moldau—one for each chime used in that arrangement. Note: This arrangement is written to include an optional soprano recorder part.

Please note that I have title printed on the music is Vltava, which is the Czech name for this river which runs through their country. The Moldau is the German name for the river (Smetana spoke German), however after WWII Germanic peoples were expelled from Czechoslovakia. Although this particular river flows only through the Czech Republic before joining up with others, The German Name for the work remains. My Czech friends, however, prefer to name the river by it's Czech moniker.

Features include:
• Individual pitches are circled in red on each score
• Students provided several playing opportunities since the textures are intentionally dense in texture
• Some arrangements work as stand-alone pieces, others better suited as a vocal accompaniment
• PDF format for download and print
