Have students sort andÂ matchÂ game pieces onto the game board. There will be a total of 4 to 5 pieces to match up with each number.
It seems that younger children are more accepting of seeing things in different ways. It is good for them to practice seeing numbers and letters in a variety of ways, thus creating the thought that a certain shape and form is not always what they will find.
You could discuss how they same number looks different on each card but there are still ways that it looks the same.
