A great way to enforce the -ey says /e/ at the end of words by playing this fun Snatch That Monkey game.
Print on card stock, laminate (for durability), and cut. Scatter the monkeys throughout the deck. Lay the deck of (18 cards + 5 monkeys) upside down. Flip over the cards one at a time, each player takes turns reading the words, if a monkey is flipped over then the first player to snatch the monkey and make a monkey sound wins the monkey card and the cards underneath. The player with the most cards at the end wins!
