A note-catcher for a unit based around segregation. I used Dr. Seuss's 'The Sneetches' to introduce the idea of segregation and help my students to identify and comprehend the main idea of a story as well as relate it to real life events. The note-catcher includes stop and jot pages, main idea graphic organizer, KWL chart, open and RACE response questions, vocab page, and a compare and contrast organizer. All are used with a Dr. Seuss font and ready for any article/additional information you'd like to present to your kiddos :)
