- Contains 3 target core words that you can use throughout the story
- WH comprehension questions that pair with the story - all questions either contain core words for the SLP to model or give the SLP/student a chance to use core words when modeling/responding
- Comments containing a variety of core words that you can model during different events throughout the story (e.g. he, feel, want, eat, drink, go, in, etc.)
- Text-to-self prompts that allow the SLP to model language and provide students with an opportunity to respond or engage in conversation (e.g. HE LIKEs ice cream. DO YOU LIKE ice cream?)
- Core words are CAPITALIZED
3. BONUS Adaptive Book Visuals
- 15 ice cream related visuals
- e.g. cones with 1 scoop, just cones, variety of scoops
