The product consists of four PowerPoint slides that have four math-related real-world scenarios on them – three are true and one is a lie. Students have to try to figure out which is the lie.
Teachers can sprinkle these power point slides within their own power point presentation. These slides break up the regular material, and keep students engaged and interested. Students' natural curiosity will keep them thinking about which of these scenarios is the lie. In the process, they will learn a thing or two about how math is actually used in the world!
