These mini snorkel kids make for a fun and summery craft! This download comes with templates to assemble the snorkelers (with a teacher tips & tricks guide), as well as writing stationary for students to write beach-themed math word problems or stories to go with the craft. See preview for templates and stationary.
If you choose to have your kids write beach themed math word problems along with their snorkelers, they look great on a bulletin board with a heading like "Diving Into Problem Solving."
Suggestion: Do a twist where you give students the answer to the word problem, and they have to write a beach word problem to arrive at that answer.
For example: The answer is 48. What is the word problem? “Last weekend I went to the beach and collected shells. I found 54 shells. I shared 12 of them with my sister. How many shells do I still have?” Writing templates and signs/posters for this problem solving activity are included with the download.
If you'd like to purchase the snorkeler templates only (without the writing templates and problem solving signs), you can find them here:
