This Snow Day themed fly-swatting listening activity is for practicing the rhythmic concepts of ta and ti-ti in combination with the melodic concepts of so and mi.

Project onto a whiteboard or Smartboard for best results.

The first set of 16 slides have one melodic pattern per slide for you to prepare your students before playing the game. The next set of 12 slides have two melodic patterns per page. The third set of 8 slides have three of melodic per page and the final set of four slides have four melodic patterns for added difficulty. Every game page comes with an embedded sound file. The key is F Major.

Stick notation with note heads is used with the solfa written beneath.

This activity could be used for individual practice or as a team game.

Instructions for the game are included.

This product was created using Adobe Pro 9 and Sibelius 7 software.
