What's more fun than a snow day?!! In this game students will first help "shovel" the snow by reading a rhythm. If they read it correctly they get to find out what they get to do when they go "play in the snow." Students don't actually do the tasks, like go outside and build a snowman, it's more of a figurative and imaginative task that they get to do. My students really enjoy it!
For each rhythmic element there are two games: one written in stick notation with noteheads and one written in stick notation without noteheads.
