We didn't get a snow day last year and we usually do. I live in Ohio and since we didn't want to miss out on all the fun my kiddos and I decided it would be fun to create our own snow day!
This pack has lots of literacy, math, and writing activities including a nonfiction animal book and report for your kiddos to do. All of these activities could easily be spread out over a week or two.

This entire pack just needs printed! There is no cutting anything out or laminating unless you want to jazz up the nonfiction animal book. It's easy and ready to use!
I teach first grade so I used this to review some important skills before I sent them off to second grade! This could also be used with some kindergartners or second graders.
It's a fun way to keep their attention at the end of the school year or whenever you need a snow day!
We ended this unit with making snow cones! I've included an easy to make recipe. However, I just bought snow cone flavoring and poured it over the crushed ice! :) My kiddos LOVED them!
Enjoy your snow day! Maybe your kiddos have never had one and this could be their chance!
