In the state that I live in (Virginia) we have a state writing test every March. Unfortunately, we tend to miss a lot of school days due to snow around this same time period. Not wanting students to be sitting at home with nothing to do, I created a packet of writing practice for students to complete at home during the 6 weeks of potential bad weather. Even if you do not have a state writing test, this is the perfect snow packet/homework activity! 41 pages are included!
The way that it works is that dates to complete are written at the top of each page. Whenever students return to school (in case of snow days) I check to see if they completed the work as assigned. If it is, I give a grade for completion, and we then go over the answers. If it is not, students do not get credit (since we are going over the answers).

***Note: At this time this does NOT come with an answer key. If an answer key is important to you, I would not purchase this product at this time! :)
