To play Snow Fall, hand out a Snow Fall grid to each student. Make sure to hand out the Multiplication Table to struggling students who need to reference it during the game. Each student will be racing to see whose snowflakes fall into the snow pile first!
Ask student to cut out the snowflakes at the bottom of the page and place them at the top of each column. Explain to the students that you will be reading and writing (or posting) math facts on the board, the object of the game is to solve the equation. As they find the answers on their board, they move their snowflake down, one row at a time until all their snowflakes are in the pile of snow at the bottom!
The first one to make it to the bottom wins!
*Make sure to put each card back in the pile and mix up the cards before drawing a new one.
