Welcome to the Snow Globe Book Report. Snow globes are fun for winter. This book report takes the fun of snow globes and makes for cool reading. Students write about a good book and draw a cute picture all on a great snow globe graphic. Readers can nominate a coolest book ever!
This worksheet will work well with any age of students, but especially with students from first grade through third grade. Students will choose a favorite book and write about it on a snow globe graphic. After filling out information on book’s title and author, students can color a drawing of the book. Also included is a summary globe where students can write a short summary of the book. It makes a cute graphic to cut out the title snow globe’s base and attach it to the complete summary snow globe. This gives you many options. To make a cute display, tape a circle of transparency film the size of the globe over the picture. Use a marker to make “snowflakes” on the transparency giving it a more festive 3-d look. This works great for displays or bulletin boards.
