Creating a snow globe is as easy as color, cut and glue! This coloring craft makes it quick and affordable for students to create their own winter snow globes! This is a perfect activity for a holiday party or to pair with student writing for a unique bulletin board display!

  1. Craft:
  • Print out the snow globe on cardstock.
  • You may choose to take pictures of your students posing as if they were doing an action described in their story. Cut out their pictures and include them on the snow globe. Draw additional scenery. If you don’t use actual pictures, students may choose to draw themselves.
  • Cut out the snow globe.
  • Put a small amount of fake snow in the middle of the snow globe.
  • Put glue around the edge of a 7” clear plastic plate and attach to the snow globe.
  • Let the glue dry before shaking the globe or else the snow will stick to the wet glue.
