This resource is intended to go along with the Tumble Science Podcast for Kids' episode "The People of the Snow with Kelly Elder." It is a journal students can use to record observations relating to snow.
To use this, have students go outside with magnifying glasses and make close observations of the snow they find on four separate days. Students should compare how the snow changes over time, and speculate about how the other weather data they're recording (snowfall, temperature, barometric pressure, etc.) might impact what they find in their observations.
