This ELA Snow Unit (revised and updated) is designed to engage students in a variety of 7 Original Poems and 2 Plays to learn about snow. Each poem is followed by a Literacy or Writing Activity. Students will build fluency, write poems, and opinion pieces. Literacy activities include Adjectives, Compound Words, Contractions, Phonics, and Types of Sentences. Complete lesson plans are included for each poem and activity. CCSS are included in the first 2 pages. B/W copies are included.
