There are many misconceptions and little known facts about snow. In this "Snow Science" activity, students will take a 10 question quiz and follow a four page webquest of reading, pictures, and video to research and analyze their findings. Great, high interest activity for winter! Includes answer key.

About This Unit:
I developed this "Snow Science" lesson for my 6th grade science students to research snow. I have used it with my gifted and talented students as well. This snow science lesson can be included as part of a "Rocks and Minerals" unit, or presented as an individual "drop in" lesson. The students can work independently or with a partner.
