A winter song with Orff Accompaniment for ta-ah!

This winter folk song is the perfect way to prepare, present and practice reading half notes (ta-ah). Slides in this snow themed lesson include: steady beat icons, iconic rhythmic notation, staff notation, sheet music, and lesson content slides for prepare, present, and practice. Also included are rhythmic ostinato slides to add 4 different rhythm instrument to the piece and 2 melodic ostinato slides to add Orff instrument accompaniment. Students can add ostinatos one at a time, combine together as a rhythm ensemble, or put all of the parts together to create a full ensemble.

Kodaly rhythms used: ta, ti, rest, ta-ah (quarter note, eighth note, quarter rest, half note)
