Do you have difficulty keeping all of your students engaged in a group conversation during social skills instruction? This game will have all of your students racing to participate!
To play: Give each student a fort, and choose a topic card. Read the topic card aloud to the group, and allow the students a chance to comment on the topic or ask a question to another member in the group. When a student makes a comment or asks a question, they may take the corresponding snowball. Melted snowball cards may be given to students who are not staying on topic or talking too much, and the student loses a snowball. The first one to fill his or her fort is the winner.
