In this 3-part activity, students explore name symbolism of Snowball and Napoleon. Students use evidence from the novel to support the relationship between each character and its name.
Part two consists of comparing the two farm tyrants: Mr. Jones and Napoleon. Students must consider the conditions the animals experienced under each leader.
Part three asks students to speculate what life would have been like if Snowball were allowed to rule instead of Napoleon.
