Snowman Craft and Winter Bulletin Board for Reading Comprehension for ANY Book

- PDF

Description
Looking for a quick and easy snowman craft and winter bulletin board? This reading comprehension activity allows students of ALL AGES to practice retelling or sequencing ANY snowman read aloud.
What's Inside:
After reading any snowman read aloud, give students time to sequence the story by writing what happened first, then, next and last.
This is differentiated so that students can either:
- Emergent: Draw pictures sequencing the story.
- Intermediate: Write one sentence retelling the story using first, then, next and last.
- Advanced: Students can write 2-3 sentences working toward a paragraph retelling the story with first, then, next and last.
When students are finished sequencing the story, they will assemble their snowman craft. This makes a great winter bulletin board!
Snowman Craft Versions:
There are two versions of each page - one with the snowman craft assembled already, and one where students cut and glue each piece together to make their own snowman craft.
Either option is the PERFECT winter bulletin board.
