Your students will LOVE this writing activity! A student will write a postcard from one "character" to another from the character’s point of view. Even though the title is "Snowman Mail," this set includes snowmen, snow women, and snow kids. :)
You can use these in so many ways in the classroom. You might use them as creative writing lessons, center activities, etc. You could add various requirements to incorporate other parts of the curriculum as well. Ideas might be using vocabulary or spelling words, comma rules, similes, metaphors, idioms, alliteration, four types of sentences, etc. The possibilities are endless!
Students will enjoy designing the stamps, making up the addresses, and adding extra decoration as well. The finished products make a fun bulletin board display as well!
There are 18 postcards included. Each one has a "reply" postcard to provide for the option of students working in cooperative pairs.
