Product Description
The kids in Frosty the Snowman found a magic hat, but how would your students make a snowman come to life? Help your students write creative stories about how they would make a snowman come to life. Make the writing process easier for your students (and yourself!) by using my resources, which I have personally used in my 4th grade classroom.

Included:
1. Parts of a Narrative Poster: Spells out ICEE, a word students can memorize and use to help them remember the parts of a narrative.
2. Writing Prompt & Tips: The prompt will help them focus their stories, and the tips align with the rubric that you will use to grade them.
3. Writing Guide (graphic organizer): This 2-page writing guide will help students write a 6-paragraph narrative this includes the important elements of a narrative (setting, characters, plot, and resolution).
4. Exemplar: I wrote an example that you can share with students so they know what you expect.
5. Stationery: Two different-sized blank snowmen for students to decorate on lined paper, and one sheet of lined paper without a snowman.
6. Rubric: 4 areas worth 25 points each.
7. Standards: Common Core and TNReady Standards pages for grades 2, 3, 4, and 5.
