Growing up in Phoenix we never had snow so when we did go visit snowy places, we wanted to make sure our snowman would last as long as possible. If we had put a coat on him, would our snowman have lasted longer?
In this hands on investigation, students will explore this question using easy to get materials and math. Along the way they will learn how to conduct a scientific experiment and calculate percentage and they see that math and science are linked together. Oh, and they will learn if they need to put a coat on Frosty!
