The "Social Change in America: Early 1800s" differentiated instruction PowerPoint is based on the NYS 7th grade curriculum and standards but because of the enriched version it will work for high school as well. It contains two ability levels of the PowerPoint. The enriched version goes into more detail and has more links. The basic version is simplified which allows time for students to do a partner review after each slide thus increasing repetition of content. It is meant to be used with a co-teacher in the room for parallel teaching but if you don't have a co-teacher, you can choose the level that works best for each class. The same content is used in both levels. The content includes:
The time states 45 minutes but could be much more depending on how many links you use.
There is a differentiated instruction lesson plan that goes with this PowerPoint but it is sold separately. It includes:
3 Ability Levels of Vocabulary Sheets
Enriched Note Sheets for both PowerPoints
Basic Note Sheets for Enriched PowerPoint
Basic Note Sheets for Basic PowerPoint
Graphic Organizer Answer Key
2 Ability Levels of a Description Circles Graphic Organizer
Homework Paragraph Writing with Grading Checklist

This was last revised on 11/27/2013. All links worked on that date. I cannot guarantee any links because I do not control the internet.
