This target has three sections: the bulls-eye indicates on-topic, the next ring out indicates that the speaker is wandering off-topic, and the outer ring indicates that the speaker is off-topic. Each section has 1-3 sentences to help you explain to your student that even though what they're saying might be tangentially related, they aren't considering their conversation partners or teachers.

After you have explained what each section means, you can have it on hand to subtly point to during therapy or blow it up into a poster for your classroom. You can use magnetic arrows (if poster is on a magnetic surface) or markers for each student if you would like.

If it works for your student, I highly recommend sharing it with parents to use at home. However, I would ask you to pay for the multiple licenses - only 10 cents each!
