Print the pages with the monster’s silhouettes and the different types of mouths, eyes, arms and ears.
Cut each one and invite the children to let their imagination fly and create their own monster. Let them customize the monster, pasting the kind of eyes that he or she wants and the same with the mouth, ears and arms.
Once the monster is created, enjoy with them inventing a name for it.
For the name we have created a special dice full of vowels, consonants and syllables. Print these pages and assemble the dice. Once assembled, throw each die and get the monster’s name from the combination of the letters.
It can be very funny!
Now that you have created your own monster, even with an exclusive name, invite the child to relate it to something he fears o doesn’t like.
If the child does not like brushing their teeth every night before going to bed, this monster that you have called (X) is the monster of the dirty teeth. And it would be a good idea to hang it in the bathroom.
The child is afraid of going to the doctor. This monster you've created will be the Doctor monster. And they can take it as a fun lucky charm on the next visit to the pediatrician.
The child is scared of the new summer school. Starting a new activity this summer can be a little scary. This monster you've created will be the monster of the new things. It can be a good resource to offer him or her security, if they take it when they start the new activity.
The child doesn’t like having to fix their room or hang their jacket every time they come home. This monster can be the monster of the order.
