I taught Kindergarten for 2 years and I realized that these young student do not know what to do when they are upset. In my class, it was not odd to see a student get upset about something small and throw a chair or hit a classmate. I realized that I needed to teach my students how to respond when they are upset.
This item contains a step by step poster that students can follow to help them make good choices. There is also pages where student can draw a picture and/or write about how they feel and why. When students are able to identify their feelings they will learn to control their feelings and be productive in school and in life. This tool can also be shared with parents so they can use the strategies at home.
