This poster (two sided) is designed for students of all ages working on SOCIAL GREETINGS. I have them posted on my speech-language classroom door. One page is for the outside (greeting) and the other is for the inside (farewell) of the door. Both visuals should be posted above the door handle and at students' eye level.
These posters provide a VISUAL REMINDER and options for verbal greetings and farewells, as well as how to initiate a conversation. They provide options for language for "greeting" and for saying "good-bye", for students who struggle expressively. These simple visuals are very effective for students with social skills, pragmatic language, and/or expressive language goals! Given these reminders, all of my students now greet their teachers and friends!
These posters work great for speech-language pathologists, special eduction teachers, general eduction teachers, school psychologist, and school counselors offices.
