This assessment task requires students to deepen their understanding of Social Justice issues in Australian Society and how individuals and organisations can work to affect change in these areas. .
There are two parts to this assessment task. Part A is a take-home research component where students define the key terms of social justice , and research an organisation or person who embodies social justice principles and beliefs. Students will hand-in there research to the teacher for preliminary marking before completing an extened response.

Part B - An extended response in 45 minutes - Either in class - or hand-in. Students use Part A to assist if this question is attempted in class.
Choose ONE activist OR organisation who has worked for justice in Australia and evaluate their contribution to Social Justice in one or more areas. Marking criteria included.
