About the Unit:
As teachers we have many jobs! One is to teach and prepare our students, and the other is to inspire! Too often the second is put aside, as we get our students ready for standardized testing. I designed this unit to do both!
In this unit students will be prepared to answer open response questions, as required to do on standardized testing. But more importantly, students will learn about a variety of social justice topics and issues. Students will be inspired to make a change through the culminating task where they will promote and educate others about a cause of their choice.
