Work on social language skills related to using the telephone.
While the prevalence of cell phones and voice mail has decreased our use of landlines and message-taking, it is still important for students with social and functional language deficits to learn how to use the telephone appropriately.
In fact, with almost everyone using cell phones these day, the incidence of these students using telephones has greatly increased.
This is a game and task card resource for students to practice those skills. There are 32 cards specifically for making calls to others and 20 cards for taking messages or answering calls.
