This document includes:
• Directions for parents and students on how to use Snapchat
• Student interviews about Snapchat: can be used as a way to persuade parents of the reasons why their child (and parents, as well, if they so choose) could benefit from communicating with their teacher on Snapchat. The student feedback came from interviews with real eighth grade students (names changed for anonymity purposes).
• Snapchat Release Form for teacher to collect from all parents
***There is a space for the teacher to paste their own Snapchat Code to this document. This makes it easy for students and parents to scan the code and request the teacher as their friend, on the spot.
***The following document can be purchased to go along with this packet for $1. It gives the teacher a place to write students' names down who cannot be snapped so when the teacher snaps the class group chat or sends out messages, they have a list in front of them so they don't have to remember who can and who cannot be snapchatted.
