This timeline and essay activity requires students to consider the many social movements in American history and link them together. First, students create a timeline of the movements in order to improve chronological processing skills. Then, students must write a 5 paragraph essay in which they tie the movements together. This is great practice for the long essay portion of the AP US History exam.
