These materials are designed for a special needs classroom. These classrooms are also called specialized support classrooms or alternative learning environments. In my years of teaching special needs students at nearly every grade level from kinder to 8th, I have learned so much, and I am excited to now share some of my strategies and methods for organization with you. I hope you enjoy this product and that it makes your life easier!
This 33 page bundle is packed full of social narratives to address many behaviors you may observe. A social narrative is meant to be read in the first person by the student and describe how that student will handle certain situations. Because students are at many different reading levels, I wrote these narratives with the understanding that other teachers may need to edit. Use the narratives as is, or use the ideas from the narratives to create a more simple version for your student. If edited, please remember that all original ideas must be credited to teachers4.2morrow. Most of these narratives do not include pictures. I like to make a book with each of these narratives that includes pictures of the student exhibiting the replacement behavior. So, for obvious reasons, photographs have not been included. Create your own narrative book using pertinent pictures for your specific student.
