Product Description
Students will progress through three activities in order to answer the essential question: whose responsibility is it?

Lesson begins with an article & card sort activity on the Universe of Obligation. Then, students read about the historic Kitty Genovese case to begin discussing diffusion of responsibility. Finally, students will watch a video and synthesize resources about bystanders, upstanders, and bullying.

All lessons include learning targets and essential questions, along with agendas and directions for the lesson. Handouts and activities are clear and ready to print for your classroom use. All extra resources are linked or included in the resource download.
