Social Reforms of the 1800s Interview Project Contains:
1. Directions and examples with historical figures relating to social reform movements-- Women's Rights, Education, Abolition, Insane Asylums & Temperance Movement. Students are asked to research a historical figure from one of the abovementioned movements and conduct an interview with the figure in Part I. Part II asks students to create a poster using slogans, visual aids, and one body paragraph advocating one of the social reform movements.
2. Packet also includes Rubric based on creativity, organization, Accuracy of Facts, Introduction.
3. Packet also includes a reflection activity in which students pair up and share their project, then write a reflection about their partner's project.
