Product Description
This includes 20 printable social scripts for young adults with social difficulties in the middle and high school setting. They can be used for grades 6-12. These can be implemented by the classroom teacher, special education teacher, school counselor, social worker, paraprofessional, or school psychologist.

How to Use
Social scripts are a great way for children to learn routines and how to handle specific situations. They are particularly helpful for children with autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), anxiety, Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), and other disabilities. These social scripts are created especially for middle and high school students.

In order to teach a particular skill or routine, first read the script with the student. Let them know that this is a way to help them during the situation. Let them ask you questions and become involved in the solution. The student should then read the script to him/herself immediately before the situation described in the social script. For example, have the student read the Waiting in Lunch Line script just before waiting in line every day. This allows students to become more independent and prompt themselves to make positive choices before challenging situations.
