Moving and Grooving in the Garden
: this activity will get your little ones moving as they follow directions and act out how bugs move in the garden by descriptors (fast, slow, loud, soft, tiny, etc..) Are they using their personal space, thinking about others, following the group plan and regulating their movement and emotions?
Ready to Grow
: students listen to social scenarios and circle how they would feel from visual choices. Then they will act out the same emotion use facial expressions and body language. Extension activities are scaffolded to expand these concepts for higher and lower levels.

What's Growing In Your Garden?
: This activity requires the students to listen to descriptions of vocabulary related to a garden. It includes visuals for support for younger students or students with more significant language impairments and is a great beginning activity to introduce making a smart guess (inferences).
